I applied for PEP for both my children and got awarded fairly quickly. I then learned that in order to continue on with pep we need to unenroll with our county. Don't asked me why but I just don't feel comfortable doing that. So I requested (twice) to cancel. Then I learned about UA, that would be such a better fit for my one child because she is hearing impaired. So I applied for UA and now on the waiting list. My question : Am I allowed to use the awarded pep money while I wait for UA for my one child? I will not touch the pep scholarship for my other child, I assume that wouldn't be allowed because I do not want to unenroll. I just don't want to get in any kind of trouble. Thank you
