My son attended 2 weeks of basketball camp this summer, which was strictly basketball training from 9-4 (not a sleep away camp). In the last fiscal year June 2024 the week was approved without issue. The 2nd week of camp in the new fiscal year was in July 2024 and it has been denied, appealed and denied again with the explanation "this is not an approved expense". I messaged a step up rep on the facebook site and was told that camps are not being approved. Any mention of the word camp may result in denial. I asked where in the Purchasing Guide I could find that camps are not eligible and was told it isn't in there but has been discussed among reviewers. Basketball lessons are most definitely an approved expense, so is there any way to get this reviewed by someone else? Thank you.
