Is a registered home education student permitted to take the PSAT or PLAN (in the 10th grade) at a public school?

Yes. The school district is not required to cover the cost of the test. The Home Education student may have to reimburse the school district $11 for the test. The district usually gives the test in late September or early October so be sure that you give the district enough lead time to order a test for your child.
