I received a concerning email from Step Up this morning.
*******
This is the email I received:
Thank you for your interest in using your student’s Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC) or Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options (FES-EO) for the Personalized Education Program (PEP).
By law, a student is not eligible for PEP if their parent/guardian is the owner/operator of a school.
Our records indicate this is the case for your family, meaning your student is not able to be moved to PEP. If this is not correct, please let us know using our contact information below.

I'm waiting for Step Up to reply to my chat, but has anyone else received this email? I really hope it was sent in error or it's easy to resolve. I do not currently nor have I ever in the past owned or operated a school.
Also, all three of my children still show their scholarships have been awarded in the Step Up Dashboard.
Just as a follow up, Step Up just sent out this email:
Dear Parent/Guardian,
An email was sent to you this morning in error stating that your student is not eligible for the PEP scholarship.
Please rest assured that your student's PEP award status has not been impacted. Step Up For Students apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused. No action is needed from you at this time. You may also view your application status and student's scholarship status within EMA at any time.
Sincerely,
Step Up For Students
I received the same email this morning. Waiting for a response as well!
