Is it possible to request a change for the requirements for elective classes? When a class is taught by an individual, it makes sense to request the credentials of that teacher, but when our students take classes that are offered by a company, it's a challenge to get a degree or educational transcript or resume of a particular teacher. I would think that the employment of that individual by the company would be proof enough of their competency to teach the course. For example, Our son took a cooking class at Sur La Table. The class was booked online, and I had to call the store to request to speak with one of the chefs—four actually teach the class—and then explain what I needed and why, and then request that they send me their credentials directly. Other examples would be art classes offered by the Naples Art Institute or sewing classes offered by Hobby Lobby.

Step Up for Students has a Purchasing Guide Feedback Form on the PEP page on their website. You could submit your feedback there. For this particular instance, you could also try submitting proof that the teacher who taught that specific class has been working with the company and/or in the field for at least 3 years. This can be done through a LinkedIn profile, if they have one and you can look them up.
