I have a question about homeschool coop thats registered as LLC. Do you think it would count as Home education Instruction Program chosen by parent? My daughter is part of homeschool Coop and attends 4 times a week for full day of instruction with some Math and LA etc and all project based learning and extracurricular activities. Or if I accept the PEP do I have to withdraw from Coop? Thank you!

Thank you very much!😍Gonna look!
You should not have to withdraw from a co-op in order to accept PEP if you are using the co-op as part of parent-directed education--but whether the PEP funds would cover the cost of the program would depend on whether that program meets all the criteria for a Home Education Instructional Program in the Purchasing Guide. They would need to meet all listed criteria in order to qualify for use of PEP funds at that program. Depending on the qualifications of the instructors there, you may also be able to get it reimbursed under Part-Time Tutoring or possibly one of the electives categories, even if the organization doesn't meet the Home Education Instructional Program criteria... if the instructors meet the listed criteria in the Purchasing Guide for one of those other categories. If the program doesn't qualify for reimbursement through PEP funds in one of those ways, you could still attend! You would just have to pay for it yourself, and you could use your PEP funds for other things. However, if they are a private school and are tracking your attendance, that is a different situation, and you wouldn't be able to be enrolled at as a private school student and have PEP at the same time.
