Here's the replay on YouTube! We were waiting for a very special guest to make the announcement, but since he got tied up we ended up making it ourselves. The announcement is at just after 1 hour and 12 minutes into the video, but honestly the entire first hour is also worth watching. Senator Grall was on the call and she talked a lot about this year's HB1 and it's a really valuable discussion for parents to follow.

I can't imagine this pertains to 1403? Can you please at least confirm if it's regarding pep and equipment because a lot of people are speculating now.

This is a process, but Brenda has gotten the commitment from the Speaker of the House that this is going to be the next action--to file an amendment to strike that language from the bill. This is a huge victory, since up until this conversation, we hadn't been able to make any headway in our efforts with the House. And now the Speaker himself is supporting an amendment to remove that line from the bill.

We've also just gotten confirmation that the Speaker will be joining us for a special edition livestream tomorrow morning, since he wasn't able to make the Livestream today. Feel free to watch that for more info!
